Commissioning technician for large storage systems, transformer stations and EV chargers

GCS specializes in the construction of high-voltage networks and the installation of medium- and low-voltage infrastructure for photovoltaic systems, e-mobility and energy storage solutions. We support construction companies, electricians, solar installers and infrastructure companies with our expertise as a B2B partner in high-voltage technology.

Your tasks:

  • Checking the electrical connections, cables and earthing in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications
  • Inspection and maintenance of battery modules, inverters, transformers, switchgear and electric car charging stations (HPC)
  • Commissioning of commercial storage systems, inverters, transformer stations and HPC charging stations
  • Integration and communication tests between components and control systems
  • Measurement and documentation of system performance under different load conditions
  • Adjustments to hardware and software during commissioning
  • Creation of commissioning protocols and complete documentation

What you bring with you:

  • Completed training (HTL, apprenticeship, master craftsman) in the field of electrical engineering or
    comparable qualification
  • First professional experience with battery storage systems, inverters or EV chargers an advantage
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to solve technical challenges independently and
    efficiently
  • Strong communication skills and team spirit as well as enjoyment of working with colleagues, partners and customers
  • Willingness to travel within Austria
  • Class B driver’s license
